Several billion dollars for local projects
The government of Saudi Arabia announced that will invest several billion USD for the construction of several local projects, as well as the constrution of more than 800,000 houses, with 500,000 in the capital Rhiad.

Ranking Spanish natural stone network - January 2010
We continue here our monthly analysis of the Google ranking of the Spanish natural stone websites and portal (Spainaturalstones.com). All of these websites belong to a larger online network dedicated in exclusive to some of the most important natural stones available in the market.
After the holidays in late December, the websites are back with increasing visibility. We will see that that has been a gradual increase in Google ranking (Google.com, english version) for all of the websites.

After a difficult year for the world economy and more specifically in our case for the natural stone industry, there are growing expectations that the year of 2010 will be a better year. The international crisis seems to be fading away, where optimism and growth have been giving its first signs at the end of this year. It is expected that the year of 2010 will be an year of recovery and full economic growth, which will benefit our industry as well.
FDP has a new president
Manuel Sanchez Peres was elected by majority as the new president of FDP - Federación Espanola de Piedra (Spanish Stone Federation) in representation of the Andaluzia Marble Companies Associations in which Sanchez Perez has the same positions.
